The Four Feathers. The classic 1939 film about cowardice and redemption. The hero, having committed a cowardly act, is presented with a white feather by three separate colleagues and his fiancĎe. He then seeks to redeem himself with four acts of extraordinary valour which would allow him to return the feathers. Did you see that film? We didn't. Hell it was made in 1939! But we heard about it, and it got us thinking about feathers.
